Bryan Childs, Pastor of Student Ministries
Bryan Childs grew up on the east coast, in Maryland and Connecticut. He earned a degree in Civil Engineering from West Point before serving as an Army officer on active duty in Missouri, Germany, and Oregon. In Oregon, he met his future wife, Lisa, and they now have three children; Isaac, Kara, and Ian.
After getting out of the military, Bryan worked for a civil engineering firm in Salem before attending seminary at Multnomah University. He completed the Masters of Divinity program in 2010.
Bryan has been working with the Junior High and High School youth groups since 2006. He came on staff as the Junior High Youth Director in October 2008, and became the Pastor of Student Ministries in January 2012.
Bryan is a good guy. You should call him up and take him out for coffee sometime.
