  1. What are some ways one might contribute by carelessness or recklessness to the spiritual failure or delinquency of others? If you fear you may have done that, how should you respond?
  2. In achieving reconciliation with someone who has sinned against us, we notice that Jesus specifies a condition, the very same one that God stipulates for reconciliation with Him. What is it? But, someone asks, aren’t we to forgive anybody and everybody regardless of whether they meet that condition? That seems contradictory? How was that problem explained and why is the distinction important?
  3. What does Jesus intend by His ‘faith challenge’ in verses 5–6? Do you find that boosts your faith, shames it or both?
  4. What is the point of the analogy in verses 7-10? Does it reset your thinking in any way?
