Michele has been a part of AWANA since 1980. She began as an AWANA leader in California, moving to Oregon in 1989 with her husband and three children. All of her children, now adults, have grown up in the AWANA program and two of them continue to serve as leaders in the ministry. She has been the Commander of the AWANA Ministry at Lake Bible Church since 1991 and has set a vision to “reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him”.
