Agape Marriage : The Agape class is currently on hiatus. Led by Mike and Laurie Sheffield who are both winsome, wise and personable, the Agape class features lively discussion, and the instruction of the Word. The Agape class is currently going through the Cross Training Curriculum and currently are on Systematic Theology.

Lake’s Sunday morning adult classes encourage those that attend and serve as communities within the body as they support each other. Currently most classes are going through a four track curriculum such as Evangelism & Discipleship, Systematic Theology, Church History, Foundations of Faith, or surveys of The Old and New Testament. Other subjects are noted in the chart at the bottom of this page.

Cornerstones : The Cornerstones class is currently on hold due to COVID 19 mandates. For comments or question please contact Walter Brockhaus at contact below.

Foundations : The Foundations class is meeting via ZOOM, starting with Foundations of The Faith from the Cross Training Curriculum. The class is open to all adults and can be joined at any point throughout the year. Foundations is equal parts lecture and discussion. Differing viewpoints and challenging questions are respected and genuinely discussed in the spirit of unity while at the same time an orthodox and evangelical perspective is clearly presented to anchor the direction of the teaching.

Reflections : The Reflections class is currently meeting via the ZOOM app on Sunday mornings at 10:30AM. The class is open to all adults and can be joined at any point throughout the year. Dan Wilcox and Mike Morris are facilitating a study on Evangelism as part of the Lake’s theological training initiative.
CrossTraining Schedule
Our Sunday morning adult education classes are open to all. Each class has freedom in teaching style. What you will find in each class is that there is a plan to cover the central ideas and principles of Christianity over a four year cycle. We call this overall study plan CrossTraining . We aspire to grow your depth of understanding on the Bible, Christianity, and church history.
