- In terms of the way of salvation, what sets the Christian message (i.e. the gospel) apart from all other religions and is one major litmus test for distinguishing authentic Christianity from cults that deceitfully try to position themselves under its umbrella? Can you name any others (i.e. litmus tests)?
- Imagine you are talking to someone in an airport. Were they to say, “Look, I have just a couple of minutes before I must board my plane. Tell me why I need to be saved and how.”How would you boil the gospel down to its bare essentials?
- We know from the Scriptures (Ephesians 2:8-10) that by grace God saves lost humanity through faith (in Him) alone. So where does humility like that of a little child figure (15-17) in the equation of entering into the kingdom of God?
