  1. Considering what 4:12-13 says about the nature of divine revelation, what are some practical or Monday morning applications to our Christian life and walk?
  2. What practical bene t do we derive from the fact that we have in Jesus, the Son of God, “a great high priest who has ascended into heaven?”
  3. What does it mean and how does it help us in prayer to realize that our great high priest is sympathetic with us in our many testings and temptations?
  4. The same Greek word (peirazo) may be translated “I test” or “I tempt,” yet those terms are not theologically synonymous. God tests, Satan tempts. What is the important difference and on what basis can the same word be used for either meaning?
  5. According to verse 16, what enables us to approach the throne of grace with con dence in times of need?
