The Debut of an Unnatural Leader
Text: 1 Samuel 11:1-15
- What is a predictable strategy of Satan when God is acting in behalf of His people?
- When Satan intends to harass and harm God’s people, God uses it for what purpose? (Genesis 50:19-20; Romans 8:28)
- What is our benefit in making ourselves familiar with what God has done in the past? Does a New Testament verse come to mind that confirms that? (Hebrews 13:8) And, what argument does that truth make for us believers to make it a priority to study God’s word regularly.
- Explain what came over Saul. That, on this occasion of the Ammonite threat, this previously shy, diffident man suddenly morphed into a self-confident monarch? (verse 10:9) What can we learn from this transformation?
