Listen to Sermon

- Verses 29-30 are initially jarring. This is an example of hyperbole (deliberate exaggeration for effect). What does Jesus mean to teach us, His disciples, by means of this device?
- Suggest some ways we can mitigate the intrusion of lust into our minds?
- In our sinful condition it is not possible to totally prevent birds from flying over our redeemed heads. However, when we find doo-doo in our hearts and a bird’s nest in our hair, what should we do to keep a good conscience before the Lord?
