- In what sense were all believers once ‘prodigals’ even if, in our outward life style, we were never so ‘out there’ as this guy?
- On the human side of the equation, what must happen for prodigals to finally turn and seek God? Practically speaking, is there anything we can do from our side to assist them in getting there?
- This parable, as do they all, needs translated in theological terms. In those terms, what erroneous mindset about man’s relationship to God does the elder brother represent? Or put another way, what is it that he failed to get?
